The Lifesaving programs focus on drowning prevention messages in addition to educating participants on how to recognize when someone is in trouble and how to safely perform water rescues in every day environments. You would be also required to learn the fundamentals of water safety, theory and practical aspects of land and water based non-contact rescue, as well as resuscitation skills.
Learners are expected to be groomed to become strong rescue swimmers. Upon completion of all three modules, the Lifesaving 1,2,3 certificates would be issued by the Singapore Life Saving Society.
